Chakra cords are first developed between a mother and her unborn child as the umbilical cord. After this physical cord has been cut, chakra cords continue to extend to the mother and others. Chakra cords are invisible links or connections to those that are important to us, those that become important to us and those that we may interact with on a daily basis in our general relationships in living and interacting.

When we initiate or accept personal contact with someone, attachment cords are sent deep into the inner structure of the chakras. They then form semi-permanent to permanent links to others. The etheric cords are established in common agreement that may be realized or not, between friends, lovers (even those we have bonded with emotionally or had sex with), mates, children, partners, relatives, some co-workers/or business associates, groups, teachers, students and others we interact with on a daily basis.

These energetic cords are capable of transmission or reception. The flow can travel both ways such as in a healthy, equally give and take relationship, or it may be one way, which drains those involved. These cords affect us on many levels of spiritual consciousness. The former are called love cords and love cords can never be severed from a person in which the negative cords are being cut. Love cords may be mutually beneficial for many years.

Reasons for Cutting Negative Cords

Reasons for cutting negative cords are many. People often cut negative cords to sever ties to an old love relationship, to cut cords with the ones they enable, the affects of childhood abuse, to cut cords from business partners, various groups, from being pulled on too much, divorce/separation, frightening experiences. If one finds themselves thinking about someone and the same unwanted feelings keep arising this is a sign that a cord cutting may be beneficial.

Benefits of Cutting Etheric Cords

The benefits of cutting etheric cords are many. One may benefit from cutting cords for growth, healing, release of toxins in organs/tissues, to trigger the natural growth of healthy chakras, to positively change relationships, to embrace happiness and bliss; to see the glass as half full, increased creativity, to conquer the carnal self to unite with the higher self and to ultimately become an active particpant in one's own evolutionary unfoldment.

Additional Information

Our chakras also have unresolved or relational cords from family members. One example would be a family in which all of the women have had “bad luck” with men. These etheric ancestral cords are just the same as our genetic coding and can have generational patterns. Another example would be parental learned behaviors in how we may speak or act with our children or “curses” on families. If this is the case, the healer will address this at the end of an etheric cord cutting session.
